Architectural studies of construction projects

The integrated architectural design of residential buildings, offices, etc. is undertaken based on the best possible utilization of the available space, the harmonious coexistence of the building with the existing natural and residential environment but also the special needs and preferences of each owner.

Finding the best possible architectural solution results from the close cooperation with the customer in which we try to combine in the best possible way the particularities of each plot, the needs and desires of each owner but also the modern trends of functionality and aesthetics that we we will suggest you. Through this collaboration, offering you a wide range of options, we help you to see clearly your real needs but also to realize what you really like. Together we create a complete building program regardless of the size of the building under study. The design of each new building is for us not a routine job but another opportunity to create.

Static studies of reinforced concrete buildings, load-bearing masonry, structural steel and wood
The static design of a building is the most important part of its overall design. It is the "part" of the study that has to do with the safety and stability of the construction. Especially in Greece, which is an earthquake-prone area, everyone wants to feel safe and must be sure that in case of a very strong earthquake, the building in which it is located will not collapse before it can get out. This does not mean, however, that a construction must be uneconomical to be safe.

We treat the design of each construction according to safety rules, adapting its final form to the unwritten rules of material economy, without destroying the architecture and functionality of the final result. We do not resort to "over-dimensioning" of the structural elements to achieve safety. The construction plans of each study are enriched by useful details (beam extensions, critical areas, sections, etc.) that help both the engineer and the ordinary worker to achieve in practice the correct and economical construction.

Our office is a real workstation. It has modern mechanical equipment (Computers, designer, etc.) as well as modern software. But machines alone are not enough. Our level of knowledge and the right scientific training we have, as well as the right choice of our partners, in combination with the mechanical equipment are a guarantee for the safety and economy of the construction, leading to the final result quickly and qualitatively.

Studies for repair and restoration of traditional stone buildings,
according to their current strength and operation requirements.

• Pre-earthquake reinforcement studies of existing buildings made of concrete or masonry
• Studies for repair and restoration of traditional stone buildings, according to the current requirements of their durability and operation
Studies of earthquake damage rehabilitation and building reinforcement projects are an area that requires very good knowledge of the subject and special attention because on the one hand the current damage must be addressed, and on the other hand the building reinforcement must be designed in such a way that eliminate its weaknesses. Essentially, the rigidity of the building must be adjusted in such a way that it has greater strength in accordance with modern regulations and to create symmetry in terms of rigidity so that we do not have a turn of the floor plan during the earthquake and the previous ones are constructed with the minimum possible cost.

In the case of additions to existing buildings, whose studies either did not provide additional floors, or due to changes in regulations are insufficient, a very important factor is the assessment of the load-bearing capacity of the existing building and the strategy - interventions - reinforcements, so that the final result is safe but also economical during its construction.
